No uniforms at lNMS!
The meeting is over and we all know what the verdict is. For all of you that do not know what we are talking about, Lake Nona Middle School had a meeting at the school about "spirit wear." The PTSA voted, and now the schedule is: "spirit shirts" on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and Friday is "Fun Friday" where you can wear whatever you want. We disagree with this. We are fifth graders going to Lake Nona and we have been waiting for a LONG time to be able to wear whatever we want in school. We feel like we are getting less freedoms. It is unfair that we must pay for what the past middle schoolers did (wearing see-through clothes, spaghetti straps, etc.) It also is not fair that the students at the middle school now have already enjoyed their fabulous sixth grade years without uniform, but we have to wear them. We made this website so that everyone that agrees with us can share your opinion on here and eventually make a point. Also, we made this website against uniforms or "spirit shirts", NOT Lake Nona Middle school or anything like that.You can comment on this website about what YOU think.
